Moolack Vantage was created from a familiar place, looking into something profoundly unfamiliar. From the coastal overlook near Moolack, Oregon, the Milky Way rises above a veil of marine fog, its dense core revealing dust lanes, star clouds, and distant nebulae layered across tens of thousands of light‑years. Below, the coastline dissolves into shadow, anchored by a single headland light: human scale meeting cosmic breadth as the tireless sentinel, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, steadily rotates its beacon of light.
 
This work is the result of blended exposures that preserve both the faint structure of the night sky and the subtle atmosphere of the Oregon Coast. Rather than treating the landscape as a foreground, the image allows land, sea, and sky to exist as a continuous space: one shaped by light, distance, and time.
