A copper‑hued moon sinks toward the horizon above the rugged plateau of Gull Rock, its reflection trembling across the dark Pacific. The last light of twilight fades into deep blue as the coastline settles into stillness, leaving the moon to command the scene with quiet authority. This moment, caught between night and tide, forms the opening chapter in a three‑image coastal narrative that culminates with the marine vessel Dauntless passing beneath the moon’s final descent.
 
Printed as a limited edition (5) 16×20 metal piece, this artwork reveals the full tonal depth of the Oregon Coast after dark: the textured basalt, the soft glow of the moon through marine haze, and the subtle gradients of the evening sky. No additional copies will ever be produced.
