On rare nights, history and sky align.
This image captures the Yaquina Bay Bridge beneath a live aurora display, an event seldom seen on the Oregon Coast, reflected over calm harbor waters. The 1936 steel arches, built during the Great Depression, stand beneath shifting curtains of color from a geomagnetic storm nearly 60 miles above Earth. Infrastructure, art, and atmosphere converge in one unrepeatable moment.
Printed at 30” × 40” for maximum presence and detail, this work is released as a strictly limited edition of only 10 prints, each individually signed and numbered. Once the edition is complete, it will never be reprinted at this size.
This is not just a photograph of a bridge. It’s a portrait of place, resilience, and cosmic chance.
Includes a signed certificate of authenticity documenting the auroral event that happened at the peak of solar cycle 25 during a G4 level magnetic storm on October 11, 024, and capture location of the Yaquina Bay Bridge.
This edition is strictly limited to 10 signed and numbered prints. The first print has already been claimed, and once the edition is complete, the image will not be offered again in this size or medium.
